Nassa Screens
Nassa is a collection of screens for the home in two sizes, designed for Yamakawa brand.
The design comes from a smooth movement of a geometric plane that explores the space around the user. The aim of the project is to create two different areas, IN and OUT but at the same time the screen allows some permeability. The concept behind it is about privacy and boundaries, how to transform our experience by allowing some inputs to enter or withholding them. When put together, the elements play with different heights, so they can create various configurations, they also create different gradients of opacity by overlapping the two pieces. Each configuration represents a unique response to those inputs that may change over time.
